Whither America?
The republic established here on the North American Continent in the late 18th century is unique in the world.  One can only marvel at the wisdom of the founders, in a world which had traditionally been governed mostly by hereditary kings, they thought a country could be governed by it's citizens. This was a wonder in it's day and an idea which was considered crazy by many of the "great thinkers" of the day, and, unfortunately by some of today's so-called "great thinkers".

"We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity
of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to
govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the
       ten commandments of GOD"      . . . . . . .  James Madison, known as the "Father
of our constitution"  I guess Madison didn't know about the hidden provision in the
constitution  he helped write, discovered by modern judges:
"Separation of church and state" . . . .JMC

They established a constitution that divided up authority into three equal parts: Legislative, Judicial, and Executive.  They provided for the constitution to be amended if need be, but only by an overwhelming majority of the governments of the various states.  (After all, this is The United States.  It is not the "socialist state of America" - The individual states have their own governments which are not at all the same) Sadly, after two centuries, it is being destroyed piecemeal by crooked, irresponsible judges and politicians who consider themselves wiser than the founders.

There was One Huge Caveat to the idea of self government.  The country was populated overwhelmingly by GOD FEARING PEOPLE.  The system of government they created depended heavily upon people of consience.  Predominently, the early settlers of this nation were fugitives from religious persecution and intolerence.  They didn't brave the dangers, discomforts and financial loss of crossing the ocean and starting out in a primitive land - just to make a buck (or a pound).  They came for liberty and Freedom to worship and live  according to their religious convictions.  Those convictions universally involved respect for the teachings of the bible. The founders knew their plan could only work so long as that was the dominent conviction of the populace.

For about 200 years it did work.  But, there are those in the country who hate GOD and Chrisitanity and want to see it erased from the face of the nation.  And, lately, they have been doing a pretty good job of making that happen.  In the early years, the bible was used by the public schools as a book to teach kids to read.  So, even if they didn't go to church, they at least knew what was right and what was wrong, from their school lessons.  That has changed and for a couple of generations, it has been quite possible for a child to grow up in this country never knowing good from evil.  We now have quite a few adults in American society who are in that moral vacuum  - and kids are being taught that "wrong is right" and "right is wrong".  It's now O.K. for the school to give your kid an  ABORTION - - BUT NOT AN ASPIRIN.

God's law has been replaced by "situational ethics":"If I think I need what you have, you must give it to me or I am justified
in taking it by force" or "whatever turns you on - do it" And the public school will teach your kids how - - whether you like it
or not.

The first amendment to the constitution provides that no one "religion" ie,  Christian Denomination, should be "established" by Congress.  Under British rule, the Church of England was the "established" church (of Virginia) and it was supported by everyone's tax dollars, regardless of their personal persuasion.  In some cases, bible teachers and preachers not authorized by the C of E  were jailed in the colonies.  The first amendment was designed to insure that situation never was repeated in the new Republic.   But, religious questions were left up to the individual states - the 1st amendment only pertained to Congress and the only ban was against "Establishing" a church.  There is no ban against public displays - - That is a fiction invented by judges.

Some groups and individuals - notably the ACLU are working hard to erase all reference to God, Jesus Christ, the bible
(even the ten commandments) from any public place (missusing the 1st amendment).  This is creating a huge moral "blind spot" and threatens the very idea of a country ruled by it's citizens.  This movement is being assisted by some in the
judiciary branch of government who consider themselves  superior to the other two branches and are making law by
reading things into the constitution that simply aren't there.

    DID YOU KNOW?:

As you walk up the steps to the building that houses the US Supreme Court, you can see near the top of the building a
row of the world's law givers and each one is facing the one in the middle who is Moses facing forward holding the ten commandments.  As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors have the ten commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door.  As you sit in the courtroom, you can see the wall, right above where the judges sit a display of  the ten commandments.

So, how come it is "unconstitutional" to display them in state or other government office buildings?  Only because the
ACLU via their bought judges, says so!  Actually, some states had established churches - churches that were supported
by the state, for a number of years (not that most of us would support that).  The first amendment only applies to Congress.  But dishonest judges have applied and magnified the rule to states in the effort to destroy Christianity.

The founding fathers, after a horrible, bloody eight-long-year war of independence recognized that no matter how good
their constituiton might be, it is possible that autocratic government might set in at some future date and to guarantee they would have capable, willing men to protect the country from outside or inside tyranny, the second amendment to the constitution says the right to bear arms "shall not be infringed". Since that time, Congress certainly has "infringed"on it,
but they have never totally outlawed gun ownership.  Power hungry politicians and dishonest judges, (apparently worried that one day, their own excesses might be challenged by the citizenry) have been chipping away at that right in recent years.   They pretend that the word "People" in the second amendment, actually means "Government".   What they don't
say is that if that were true, then it would be true in the rest of the document and "The people" actually means
"government" and the people have no rights at all under the constitution . . . JMC

See: DO HUMAN BEINGS HAVE A NATURAL RIGHT TO SELF DEFENSE?

So, where it America headed?  To the dumpster?  Sure looks that way.
