When Abraham Lincoln was elected president (But before he could take
office) a small
group of rich, powerful, greedy men started the Civil War because they
thought
Lincoln
would destroy their wonderful source of wealth - - Slavery. Slave
owners constituted only
a little more than Four percent of the white population of the
South. The war they started
is conservatively estimated to have cost the lives of about 600,000
Americans
- - about
twice as many people as the total number of slave owners. And,
in the end, it destroyed
the wealth of the slave owners, while doing harm to the nation that
still reverberates 145
years later.
Their fortunes were based on CHEAP LABOR. That "Cheap Labor"
proved very very
costly to the nation. Today, a small group of rich, powerful
people in search of "Cheap
Labor" have come upon their own version of slavery - - Illegal Immigrants.
When a
person sneaks across our border, He/She usually arrives penniless.
Any money they
had has usually been taken by the Coyotes,
So, they are forced to accept any job at any wage that is
offered.
As in the Civil War, a bunch of weak, vasillating, bought politicians
are the agents that make
the situation possible. This is not a party issue. The
President
talks a good line - - but
does little. It appears that many of the politicians in
Washington, D.C. are, themselves
employers of illegals. Remember, Bill Clinton had to try three
tries before he could find a
female Attorney General candidate who wasn't employing illegals.
Bush has had the same
problem with some of his appointments.
Before Lincoln was assassinated, all of the epithets directed at Bush
during the present
war were directed at Lincoln. But, after martyrdom the media
types lauded him.
The greedy employers tell us, "Immigrants take jobs Americans won't
take".
But, certainly, Americans would take them at a reasonable wage.
As in the Civil War,
the whole population is paying the cost of a few rich, greedy employers'
" CHEAP
LABOR". We are paying through the criminals and drugs coming
in with the
"CHEAP LABOR". We are also paying through medical costs and
auto accidents.
Recently, in California, a coyote with an SUV stuffed full of illegals,
saw a police flashing light
ahead on I-80 and did a fast U turn because he thought he might be
stopped. Well, he was
stopped when the vehicle overturned killing three occupants and sending
others to the
hospital (at US Taxpayers expense, of course)
If this "CHEAP LABOR" is really needed, then why not make it possible
for poor people to
come here legally? The answer: Then they would no longer
work for cheap!
The greedy employers have no more concern for the welfare of the
country than
did the greedy slave owners who brought on the civil war.
After
immigrants have been
here a while, they realize they can get a real job at Walmart or MacDonalds,
so, the Greedy
employers have to have a continuing flow of illegals to keep getting
that "CHEAP
LABOR"
All of the vile epithets (such as "Liar, Stupid, etc) that have been
thrown at Bush were thrown
at Lincoln Before they succeeded in murdering him. Only
after his martyrdom did he
become a hero to the Northern Democrats.
The news media continually called for some kind of compromise, (ie surrender
by the Union)
throughout the war.
It's all so current, it gives me the creeps!
The only solution is a wholesale change of faces in Washington, D.C.
If enough
Voters understand this and vote accordingly, we might be
able to stem
the tide in time. But, time is running short and if we don't
wake up, America will
suffer just as much from this foreign invasion as it did in the
Civil War.

The first step is voting out Maria Cant (do) well. She
got re-elected last November and her
record on border control has been strictly "Teddy Kennedy". Washington
state is on the
downward slide - - as is most of the country.
